A Change In Plans

When a health scare shook up her family, Kaleigh Croley discovered a new path – and uncovered a new passion

Promoter Kaleigh Croley discovered THRIVE during the worst of circumstances.

Just hours after she had given birth to her son Remington, the infant had to be Life Flighted to another hospital four hours away from the family’s home for major abdominal surgery.

He stayed in the NICU of the hospital for six weeks before he was able to come home.

That experience changed everything for Croley and her family. “We thought we had our life all planned out,” she says. Croley had planned to be the family’s sole breadwinner, working a nine-to-five job at a local hospital, while her husband had planned to attend nursing school. But as soon as Remington came home from the hospital, Croley knew that the plan had to change.

“I knew I wanted to stay home and take care of the little guy,” she says of her son. So Croley and her husband switched up the plan: He dropped out of nursing school to take a full-time job and she quit her job to stay home with Remington and their daughter Cambria.

Croley began searching for a way to make money at home, and in June 2019, her friend Rianne Van Gorden told her about THRIVE. “I started a three-day trial, thinking in the back of my mind that if the products worked, maybe I could do something with Promoting,” she says.

By the second day of her trial, Croley knew that THRIVE was something special. “I would drink coffee all day long, and then switch to Red Bull at 6 p.m. to get myself through the day and night,” she says. But when she began her THRIVE Experience, Croley said she had a “huge energy boost” without relying on caffeinated drinks. She quickly ordered a month’s supply and became a Promoter.

She began to share her story with others, and “that was the beginning of some crazy, fast-paced success I never saw coming,” she says. Croley hit the 4K VIP rank in less than 24 hours of being a Promoter, and she reached her 12K rank in just 13 days. But even more exciting was the fact that she’d stumbled on something she loved to do. “As I started holding meetings with my team, I found that I loved being a leader,” she says. “I had this passion for believing in people more than they believed in themselves.”

That passion led Croley to continue ranking up with the company. Just five months into her Promoter journey, her husband was able to stay home to spend more time with her and the kids. Croley eventually achieved the 200K rank, and the family now spends quality time together every day. “My husband and I spent six years struggling through everything imaginable,” she says. “Now, we’re going on two years of the best years of our family’s life.”

Her business, too, continues to grow, even as she spends more time with her children. In March 2020, Croley and Van Gorden launched a podcast, Tea for Two, that provides business advice. And her goal for 2021 is to help five Promoters on her team achieve their 200K rank. To reach that goal, she’s constantly developing herself as a leader. “I think of this industry as self-development with a paycheck,” she says. “You have to be able to inspire and motivate people.”

Her best advice for other Promoters? “You live the kind of life you’re willing to tolerate,” she says. “I couldn’t stand to live in a state of hopelessness, and now I realize that I don’t have to.”
